Narrative Writing

Thursday 30 July
This is my first draft of my Narrative Writing.
First thing we had to do was pick a picture that we were interested in and write a Narrative Writing based on the picture. It's unfinished because I had an idea for the problem but I didn't know how to solve it and I was still figuring it out. I am going make it better by thinking what makes a good Narrative Writing and how can I get my readers hooked into my writing.

Lost at Sea

RaChEl!!!, baby where are you!” Michael yelled to look for her daughter who is currently drowning in the deep, rocky blue ocean, “DAD!!! DAd!!!” as Rachel tried to reach for air to call for help.

Report Writing on Lock down

Friday 19 June
Trapped in their cage for 1 hour!!!

Thursday 18 June, 2020
Te Wairua Pakiki Whanau and the rest of St Pius X School went into lockdown for at least 1 hour at 9:47.

All students were taped to the ground on their tummies, there wasn’t a single sound in the last minutes, it was bright but it turned to darkness, the tables were their caves and it was pouring with rain.

Some of the students did not follow the instructions that Julie (lockdown instructor) gave, however most of the students were quiet causing them to have a nap while waiting for their principal, Paul Coakley to release them from their cages.

After the students escaped, they were sent downstairs to let them know how good they were and what they needed to practise on.

Lock down Report Writing
Will New Zealanders survive this lockdown?
It has been 7 weeks since New Zealand has been on lockdown.

On Wednesday, March 25th 2020 New Zealanders were obliged to go into lockdown by Jacinda Adern PM (Prime Minister). This was because the contagious COVID-19 spread quickly and powerfully and also to keep safe from the disease.

People in New Zealand have other ways to keep safe like wear a face mask and gloves, social distancing, being quarantined at home and apply hand sanitizers when touching things others have touched.

Gone But Never Forgotten

“Goodbye Grandpa” was the last words that the Fotofili Family said to their Grandpa.

A family of 7 has lost their beloved father, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend, Silongoua Fotofili on Sunday, the 24th of May, 2020. The funeral was only held one day as posed to the normal 5 days. This was because of COVID-19 and there were only 100 people allowed inside the Church while some people were outside. This was because of the Government’s rules.

“We were all devastated when we heard that his heart just stopped,” said Peli, the youngest boy of the family.

Inside the Church, it was filled with sadness and hearts were aching, waterfalls rushing down their faces, nose sniffing like dogs and uncontrollable tears.

“The day we lost him, our hearts just shattered into pieces. We had no idea that we were going to lose him so suddenly,” the eldest girl in the family cried.

Covid-19

Monday 4 May
Covid-19 Update | Business Health Services

What is COVID-19?
Covid-19 is a virus that spreads easily, it’s also a virus that can cause you to die.

How do we stay away from COVID-19?

  1. Avoid going outside because mostly outside has all the germs and the virus. It is best to stay INSIDE where it is safe and you don’t get sick or worse. You can go outside if you need things that you survive on like food, water, vegetables and more like that. But you have to wear protection like a mask and gloves so you don’t touch or take in the things that people spread their germs on. That also includes going to other countries. Going to other countries during this virus that is spreading quickly is NOT the best way to stay away from the virus. Going to other countries is not safe because the country that you might be going to, probably has the virus there and you might not know it.

  1. ALWAYS wash your hands after you’ve finished with the toilet. You even have to wash your hands if you’ve touched something that everyone touches like the kitchen sinks and other things like that. Also wash your hands if you have picked your nose which you shouldn’t or just any other disgusting places.

  1. Don’t touch any part of your face. The only way where the virus will get into you is if you haven’t washed your hands and you’ve touched your eyes, inside of your mouth, inside your nose and maybe even your ears. It’s best if you just don’t touch your face if you haven’t washed your hands.

  1. If you cough or sneeze, you need to cover your mouth by sneezing or coughing into your arm or you can just cough into a tissue. If you cough or sneeze into the air then everybody will get sick because everybody will breathe in the same air. So covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze is good to keep everybody from sneezing or coughing.

My Goals for 2020

Friday 14 February
My Goals for 2020 is to have confidence in my work or at school because my confidence is getting there but it needs a little push. I would like to work on my confidence because all I need is confidence and I will NEED it when I go to College which is next year.

Another goal that I plan to achieve is to improve on my work but also improve one what subjects I am struggling with. I think that improving on my difficulty subjects will really help me to get better at those gaps.
