Tuesday 17 December
Week 1
Day 2: Up in the Air
Activity 1: Flying Solo
Activity 2:
I have chosen to do a Haiku, Haiku is a Japanese poem of 17 syllables altogether, in three lines of 5,7, then 5 again.
Wow!, this is awesome
Flying so high in the sky
The stars are so bright
Activity 3:
I know that Nail Armstrong and those other people that went with him is very brave because knowing that people have died trying to get to the moon is very scary and they still wanted to try it. I feel like it was very brave and cool of them to walk on the moon because I have never heard or seen anyone tried to walk on the moon and succeeded.
Hi Dianne this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the venn diagram you have created about two awesome aviators - do you want to be a pilot when you leave school, or maybe a flight engineer? I really like the poem you created about walking on the moon - would you REALLY like to walk on the moon? I'm not too sure I'd like the journey there... Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather,
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog, good to know you will be commenting on our blogs!, I would not be a pilot when I leave school because there will be lots of responsibilities that I would have to handle and plus I get carsick and I do not enjoy that so I would probably get airsick.
I would like to walk on the moon but I will also not enjoy the journey there, but what food can we eat? Is there a special kind?.
I will keep blogging and commenting on others,
Thanks again!
Ka Kite,
Dianne

ReplyDeleteHey Dianne,
ReplyDeleteFor activity 2, I enjoyed reading your haiku, I think you were very creative for doing a haiku. I don't think much people thought of doing that. Great work.
Hey Dianne,
ReplyDeleteFor activity 3, I think Nail Armstrong was very brave as well, because it would've been very scary travelling to the moon. He must've been really nervous or scared. Great work.
Great work
Jerome
