Monday 31 August
This is my results from today of prototec. I did stage 7 because that is where I am at.
As you can see, I did not do very good because it was quite noisy and I just couldn't focus, there are 2 columns where I do not know how to work out so I've just left it blank.
I do not have my results from last week Monday to compare with this weeks results because I was sick last Monday. And because I didn't do it last week Monday.

My Book Review
I have read 2 books in this lockdown and one of them is Drama by Raina Telgemeier.
This book is about a girl named Callie who loves theater. And while she would like to try out for her middle school’s production of Moon over Mississippi, she can’t really sing. Instead she’s the set designer for the drama department’s stage crew, and this year she’s determined to create a set worthy of Broadway on a middle-school budget. But somehow she is supposed to manage this and drama onstage and offstage but when 2 cute brothers enter the picture, things get even crazier.
I have finished this book and I really like it because I can kind of relate to Callie because she’s been stressed and pressured to try and do her best with the theater and maybe even things outside of theater. I have been stressed and pressured to try my best with school because I am a year 8 and this is my last year of primary school so I need to leave with an outstanding report.
My favourite part of the book is when one of the cute brothers played a girl role and wore a red dress with makeup for one of the scenes because the actual girl was sad about something so one of the brothers decided to step in for the girl. It was hilarious and brave at the same time.
I would definitely recommend this book to the age 9+ because it is quite easy to read with the pictures and I think it might be difficult for 8 year-olds. But if you can read comics then just read this book if you want to.

Wonderopolis
What is a whirlpool?
Today, in Wonderopolis, I was reading a nonfiction story about whirlpool. As you can
see I have read it properly and carefully because I’ve answered the questions correctly.
I answered the questions correctly and I got 100%
Thursday 27 August
This is my results from last week Thursday. I did great! I only got 1 wrong and my time was 01:51
This is my results from today. I don't think I did better than last time but at the same time I kind of did good because I only got 2 wrong which would've been worse but my timer is 02:08 and it would've been worse but it could be better.

These are my before questions that I've answered, I answer these questions before reading a new story.
Before Begin Questions:
Have you ever gone to a new place and met new people and felt like you had to start again? Give examples.
Yes, I have gone to a new place and I have met new people but I didn’t go up to them and tell them about me because I am not very confident and outgoing. I like to be alone and I don’t like people who are talkative sometimes.
Example:
I went to this birthday party that was at Chipmunks Playground, I’ve “met” new people but I’ve seen them around a few times. We didn’t quite talk and play together, it was just passing each other every now and then.
How did you meet new people and new friends?
I mostly met new friends at school and I met new people at Church and family occasions and we just stayed together and talked and played.
Was it hard or easy to find similarities between you and the new place? Give examples.
To be honest, it is always hard because I haven’t been to a new place and I don’t know what it looks like inside.
Examples:
Sometimes, when I go to a new place and I need to go to the bathroom, I have to ask where the bathroom is because I don’t know the place and it is new to me.
