I finished this book and this is what happened.
When Ella was on her way to the park with Bob his daily walk and Mavis came out of her house and waved at Ella. Mavis asked I Ella would mind take George to the park for a walk too. Of course Ella had to ask why that lovely girl wasn't taking George for a walk, then Mavis said one of the dogs she walks had ringworm and then Peach got it too because she didn't wash her hands properly after handling the dogs. Then Ella was so happy so that is why she walked George.
